Fiocchi Primers?

Anyone know if these are worthwhile? A local shop has them advertised at $35 for 1500, but I've never tried them.

I didn't even know they made primers, but I've found that their brass gives me ZERO to complain about and I'm kind of picky with brass.

At that price for 1,500, I can tell you that I would absolutely buy some of them, no question. I'd probably buy about six thousand of them.

And THEN I'd know!

They make excellent ammo. I would expect the same with the primers. I would be in line to stock up on them.

Have used about 3k of their SR primers. Zero problems. Seem to be harder than the Remingtons I have, so I use them in .223/.556.

Would not hesitate to recommend them, and they give you 50% more per sleeve.

I saw same thing...

but they were $50 for 1500. Word has it that primers and ammo selection is back and prices going down. I've been trying all kinds of primers for past two years or so. I'm going back to Winchester or Federal..Cost be dammed.

warningshot, he said $35 for 1.5k. That is a decent price.
I won't be competeing with you for Federal primers that's for sure especially in a .556. Too soft IMO, though I wouldn't have a problem using them in a bolt gun.

Picked up 2500 about 4months ago. Paid $26.00. Haven't had one problem with them. Loading 9mm and .38. Using the Lee hand prime tool. Good luck and stay safe.

I used a couple K of their LP primers back in The Great Primer Famine of the 90's. Seemed fine for the plinking loads I was shooting in 45 Colt that winter. No complaints here.
