Fighting with Firearms addresses two major concepts - the universal applications of both handgun and carbine weapon systems, and fighting with those weapon systems under all conditions and circumstances. Topics covered include combative marksmanship and manipulations, shooting responses, fighting up close, bilateral weapon operation, combative and unconventional shooting positions, movement techniques, barricade tactics, contact-distance engagements, realistic methods for defeating multiple adversaries, and problem-solving crisis scenarios using state-of-the-art shooting solutions. This course will also feature training in handgun and long-gun combatives covering weapon retention, weapon removal and intermediate force techniques for striking, trapping and grappling with a firearm. If you’re ready for high-intensity reality-based firearms training, do not miss this course. Completion of an entry-level firearms course of instruction through PFC or other credible training provider is the minimum prerequisite for this training. Registration deadline is July 19, 2006.
