that the trigger guard is on the bottom side of a rifle while the trigger is on top?

I think that he meant to say that the hammer was on the top, especially since the triggers of that gun are located on the under side of the stock.

I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt and think that it was just a slip of the tongue. However, in his shoes, I would have pulled the video from YouTube by now.

There are 2 triggers according to this guy! One on top and one on the bottom! All this time I thought the bent thingy on top was a hammer!

While some folks might tell someone to "cock the cock", most folks would probably say to "cock the hammer".
