Replacing fiber optic material on rifle sights

Hi,
Anyone know off hand what the right size is for fiber optic for Thompson Center rifle sights on a firestorm muzzleloader? Mine is broke and I'd like to replace it, it's real hard to see the front sight.

Are you only trying to replace the lite pipe?
That lite pipe itself is very small in diameter.
Are you looking at the replacements linked below?
If you bought the smallest one, it could always be glued in if it was too small. Or at .99 cents each, order a few sizes.
That is if TC can't help you out, but they should be able to.
They'll probably send you a lite pipe for free if they have it, if not the whole front sight.
Try calling TC customer service at: 603-332-2333

I find myself in a similar situation, needing to replace just the fiber optic tubes on my pistol sights. I'm just trying to reverse the color scheme to be consistent with my other guns with fiber optic sights. After checking around, it sounds like a simple task. You can cut the tubes with common wire cutters, and flatten the ends after installation with a hot screw driver or knife. The only real challenge is purchasing the correct diameter size fiber optic tubes. I found this website that offers the tubes pretty cheap...

Check with your local archery shop. They'll have the optics in stock. Used heavily now for bow sights.
