On the way to the shooting range

Saw a few goats. Not like Wyoming, but seems like the population is healthy.

Retry Stabll 6.5 longer col

The previous test loads at 2.630 col and this same powder charge produced about 2800 fps. The group was 3/4", but this go round the group was no Bueno.

Alliants web site provides load info for two different 100gr bullets using RE16 in .243. It seems to give pretty good velocity.

Hybrid 100V

The Hybrid was mucho Bueno. This is the max charge from Hornady load data, 2.630 col, Hornady brass, and Federal 210m primers. Looks very promising. My feet and hands were getting cold, so gathered up and came home. The load needs more testing at warmer temperatures as it will be used for speed goats and sometimes its 80 degrees in October.
