technical info needed

Anybody know the barrel nut torque spec for a .50 beowulf?

One could assume it is the same as a 5.56 barrel... As they are installed on the same receiver.

The spec it to ensure good snug fit but without damaging the threads on the aluminum receiver.

Can't say what the .50 Beowulf is, sorry.

ARMY specs for the M16A1 in 1975 were 35-40 ft/lbs torque, then tighten to align the nut to allow the gas tube to go through.

Things might be different, today...

Yea, i figured it would be the same. Its a big bore reciever for the.beowulf but still spec to ar15. Ok, ill use the ar15 specs. Just thought id double check to be sure. Thanx

Yes it's the same.
The bolt locks into the barrel extension on all ARS, not into the receiver. Barrel Nut torque is needed to align the nut with the gas tube. As long as it has enough torque to keep it from loosening it's fine.
