Help identifying a Reich Revolver? 1883?
Hi Im new to the forum, so I hope I am posting this in the right place.
I have what I think is a 1883 Reich Revolver. I know it is definitely a Reich Revolver but Im not sure what year or anything else about it. It has a serial number with an eagle proof next to it. All the pins match the last 2 digits of the serial number, it has several proof marks and what I believe is a regimental mark also. Just trying to find out more about it if anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I am switching over to my tablet now to add pics. |

You should be able to upload pictures. One of the admins can help you with that. Remember they have to be below a certain size to be hosted here.
I looked on the web and it looks like a interesting piece. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1879_Reichsrevolver Can't say I know anything about them, but I would like to see pictures. |

Not much help with your specific pistol, but C&Rsenal did a video on the 1897 Reichsrevolver with history and information.
