I was wandering around the Mossberg site and found this page:
http://www.mossberg.com/acatalog/pricebarrels.htm
Mossberg makes 7 barrels for the Remington 870, 3 rifled and 4 cylinder bore. Haven't the least idea as to quality so I thought to post here and get a few opinions.

A Super Mag barrel would be nice. Too bad they only have 3" chambers available.

I just received my 18.5" Mossberg replacement barrel for my 870Express. I have no complaints about it and it seems to be just as good as the original Remington barrel.

I will have to wait a few days before I can actually take it out and shoot with it. I'll post a follow up after that.

Barrels

I was told by a Remington VP several years ago that Remington makes the barrels for Mossberg Shotguns.

If that is still true the barrels should not differ in quality.
