ALERRT Training is spreading across the US.
ERASE by ALERRT (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training) Center at Texas State University is gaining popularity across the country. Excellent training.

SPAM?
Not SPAM at all. ALERRT website is below:
http://alerrt.org/ This is some of the best specific scenario training available to Law Enforcement. Their live shooter training is second to none. |

A friend of mine now works as a trainer for ALERRT in Texas. He's had a lot of training experience in both commercial & Gov, international and CONUS, and he's very impressed with the program.

After Sandy Hook Obama freed up a Federal money to LEA's and mandated Active Shooter Training for law enforcement nationwide. I have done something similar in Alabama a few times. It was also incorporated into the State Police Academy course.

I participated in an full day exercise with these folks and our local L.E., Fire, and EMS about six months ago. They know their business and have a number of "been there, done that" staff members. I was there as a volunteer victim/patient/trouble maker, but I know that our pros got a lot of high level training in an 8 - 10 hour period. If you get the chance to work with them, grab it.
