Ray Woodrow III Great Training

My wife and I had the pleasure of taking an NRA Basic Pistol Course with Ray Woodrow III in Barnegat, NJ. Sue (the Mrs.) had absolutely no experience with any kind of firearm. Ray and his wife Renee did a great job taking us throught the safe way to handle firarms. They had a good number of autos and wheelguns in calibers from .22 all the way up to 44 Mag. By the end of the day the wife was putting rounds in the 10 ring and Ray and Renee helped point out a couple of bad habits I picked up from shooting without formal training. The great weather didn't hurt either. If you looking for a place to get some good handgun experience in NJ, I highly recommend the Woodrows. You can contact them throgh this site. Ghostdoc

PS Thanks to Geoff Ross for recommending the Woodrows.

I've learned so much about defensive shooting from Ray Woodrow III.

I try to get out to his pistol range atleast twice a year.

I wonder if he's ever going to have the carjacking course?

Great day

Glad that you and your better half enjoyed yourselves. Renee and myself enjoyed the company and being able to help you guys in the art of basic pistol.

Overall a great way to spend the day and the weather was GREAT!

Looking forward to seeing Sue and you at some of the shoots that are held down at Buckeye.

Ray is a great guy and hosts some excellent TFL get-togethers. They are worth driving to NJ.

No........

Jody,
I'm hosting a fundraising shoot for the NJCSD www.njcsd.org on the same day. We are going to do all kinds of krazy stuff. I will catch you at the next one in PA. Tell your better half "Hello" from Ray & Renee.

Its all Ray's fault.

Ever since he stopped sending Christmas cards and forgot my 30th Birthday 4 days ago I stopped talking to him.
