I just got done cleaning my Mossberg shotgun for the 1st time , and I noticed that there is no cover over the shells , you know , where the bottom of your shotgun where you load your shells in.
Is this normal ? Your information is greatly appreciated .

You just noticed? Seems like you would have noticed that the second you bought the shotgun. But yup, many shotties are like that.. especially Mossbergs.
