Dillon 550B is here , pics
The FedEx truck brought me a couple boxes from Dillon this afternoon
Set up was pretty easy, made five 45acp rounds so far. I wish the powder bar had indicators on it, but i it got to 5.5 gr in 3 trys. The Dillon ballance beam scale is very nice, never wanna see that Lee scale again. Gotta go shoot some ammo up to get some unprimed brass, to be sure the primer system works, though a primer is there and ready. The pickup tub and flip tray goes pretty fast. I think i will be real pleased with this press |

Nice!!! The only thing I have found with mine is if I sit down and load alot of rounds at one time the handle gives me blisters so it is time to get the roller handle. Otherwise, you will REALLY like this press.

Buy a tube of "Lanolin Hydrous" (about $3 at your local pharmacy) and lube your hand with just a little dab, it helps when using the ball handle. Its the same stuff used to make Dillon case lube and won't contaminate powder.
I've used a press with the roller handle and it seemed to diminish the feel of the press, I like the ball. |

I also like the feel of the ball handle on my 550. When reloading I use a fingerless work glove on my right hand to give me some extra padding especially in the priming upstoke.
