Vince, make sure you look at the Mossberg-made replacements for the Remington 870 - yup, Mossberg does make barrels for Remington, they are excellent quality and MUCH cheaper...

I believe Cabelas carries those as well...

Someone else posted asking about Rem barrels within the past few weeks, you may want to search for that thread too.

Borownells had what he was looking for as I recall.

Wilson Combat / Scattergun Technologies had some 18" barrels on sale for $95 each. They are listen in the clearance or some such area.

I seem to remember Wally World having rlfle sighted barrels for about $129 or so.
