110 gr RN in 300 AAC?

My 300 AAC built is slowly nearing completion, down to making ammo. I found some brass, and I have Hornady 110 gr RN bullets (the 30 car type). Hogdon has a load for the 110 gr V-Max with H110 which I have. Any reason not to copy that load for the RN bullet?

I haven't tried the 110gr rn's in my BO but from what I understand is that the body of the bullet is too short to get proper neck tension if you plan on shooting them in AR's. With bolt guns is not as much of an issue.
