I'm looking for a good holster for my P229. I'm 5'5" tall, 140# with a 32" waist. I've looked at a lot of the holster companies on the web and I like what Horseshoe has to offer. He seems to put a bit more care into his craft than most of the other guys. I was looking at his model 22. What is the general opinion of Horseshoe holsters? Also, what is the prefered position for an IWB? I have one for my Makarov and I prefer to carry it right in the middle of my back. It seems uncomfortable off to the side like I've seen it in pictures. Thanks

Can't speak to the middle of the back carry, except that it's not for me. As far as Andy Arratoonian's Horseshoe holsters, they are a superb product. The fit, finish and attention to detail is as good as I've seen with a custom holster.
