Purchasing more than one handgun a month in Virginia with CHP
Hello All.
I have a quick question about the one handgun a month law exemption for CHP holders in virginia. Will I need to notify my FFL at the time of the background check that I have a CHP or will it show on my check that I have it? I'm looking to do this for the first time and don't want any surprises. Thanks. Sent from my DROID2 using Tapatalk |

Check with Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL). Wish we had something like that in MI.
VCDL is going after the one gun limit in 2012, legialatively. |

It'll show up on you VSP check. What I do at gun shows is hand the seller my driver's license and my concealed carry permit. That satisfies the two id requirement and gives the seller something to refer to in case there's some question about the exemption.
