Can you ID this Stevens Shotgun For Me
I have pics of this gun..
It is a 12 gauge, single shot, Hammerless, a safety on the tang. The tang measures .561 Width 3 1/2 inch length. The barrel is 30 inches long. It only has Stevens on the butt. Would anyone know the model?? I need to have the stock and forward assembly repaired. I know it is atleast 45 years old..probably much older. Thank you!! Savage 220 1947-1965. Unable to find a Stevens equivalent model. Prices vary, depending upon availability. -7-

The design of the stock's PG looks older - from the 1930's IMHO.
IIRC, M220's have been made since at least 1938 - but replacement wood for any of the hammergun series (94/944, 104/105/107) from Numrich Arms should also fit. http://www.e-gunparts.com/products.a...=089Zz220A&MC= . Last edited by PetahW; April 7, 2009 at 07:53 PM. |

Stevens made a model 182 break open hammerless shotgun. The model series ran from 182, 185, 190, and 195, each model a higher grade. The stock should be checkered and what they call trap grade.

FWIW, This is Numrich's parts listing for the Stevens 180 hammerless series:
http://www.e-gunparts.com/products.a...HAMMERLESS&MC= They list no wood, but have forend iron, etc. . |
