Carry guns to the range day.

Yeah, I know conventional wisdom says I should have one carry gun so I become accustom to it and don't have to think about function if I need to use it in worst case scenario. Nonetheless, I have four carry guns. See pic below. Left to right we have the Sig p238, Kel Tec P3AT, NAA Blackwidow and Sig 365.

The two Sigs see the most carry time, one or the other of them come along when I'm going out of town. The Kel Tec comes along as pocket carry for occasions where I have to tuck my shirt in. The NAA comes along around town, out to go fishing, country bike ride etc.

I shoot the two sigs the best, Kel Tec is passable at five yard and I can hit an elephant with the NAA even at 30 yard, but just barely.

Second pic is in their holsters. Of note I got the NAA holster from a place on EBAY called Sunflowersunshine2009. Lotta nice holsters there.

One thing I learned today is that, in terms of carry comfort I prefer the Sig P238 to the 365. It's a more comfortable carry and I don't fear carrying cocked and locked because the thumb release strap blocks the hammer when it's holstered properly. May mean I should look for a more comfortable holster for the 365. Hmmmmmm . . . . I should note that I prefer clip on holsters so I can easily leave the gun in the car when it's called for.

Anyway, there they are and life is good.

FWIW, I couldn't get the pics to open so I'll take your word for it. Be that as it may, I subscribe to the 'One Carry Location' school of thought more than 'One Carry Gun.'

I always carry in the same place on my person. I simply don't understand the concept of "carry rotations" of half a dozen different guns in half a dozen carry methods depending on mood, neighborhood, perceived risk-of-the-moment, BBQ, etc.

I'd rather keep it simple.

Nothing wrong with multiple carry guns....as long as the are all the same. Same holster, same mags, same ammo....for 110 years.

I carry a full size 1911 in 45ACP OWB every day. I have had a variety of different carry guns over the years, and always find myself coming back to my 1911. So on that note, I have decided to stick with that platform.

I would like to purchase a Commander size in 9mm next.

Storm2, that's quite impressive. Did you start with one of the original 1911's?

My post above was kind of a joke in case it wasn't clear. Because I don't think anyone's been carrying concealed for 110 years.

No, my oldest one is only 104 years old but it and all before it still fit the same holster I wear and will accept and fire the same ammo from the same magazines I use....but then you knew that.
