I received an email from NRA trying to sell me their Gunsmithing Guide for about $25. Is it any good?

Do you have a link you can share? Or is it a private offer?

The NRA can use the profits. Buy it from them.

So that is to say that the people recommending buying it have read/used it; and it's good why?

I would like a little more commentary as now I'm considering buying it too.

It is highly useful. I use the thread tables in my barrel fitting classes that I teach at the local gunsmithing school. The book is made up from articles originally published in the American Rifleman.
