Snubbie Got Some New Clothes.

I picked up these NOS Gonvalo Alves Target Grips for my square butt model 36. I was the only bidder so I got em at a reasonable price I think. They look very good IMO, and they have the S&W medallion which is what made me buy em. They look large on the revolver. But they fit and fill my hand alot better and allow the gun to still point naturally. They enclose most of the grip frame with the exception of the top rear portion of the grip frame. Whattaya think?
here's a before pic

I like the before.

I like the classic look better in the before picture but if it works better for you with the new grips then that is what counts.

I'm no expert

But I've never seen Goncolo Alves wood that blonde or with so little figure before.

Before I purchased these, I had no idea what a Gonvalo Alves grip is, still don't. But google will. The more I hold it, while its comfortable, it makes the little revolver LESS concealable. So they might be out for CC. I may have to stick with the original grips for carry.
