Scope discussion for muzzleloader...

So I'm finally deciding to go away from the walmart specials in scopes and get a decent one for my T/C Impact (I've always been fine with the $40 specials, shot 2 inch groups at 100yards with old Traditions 209). But I decided to spoil the Impact more than I usually do. Now if I was going to make muzzleload hunting my primary way to deer hunt (bowhunting for life) I would spend $200-$500, but right now I'm looking to stay around $100-$150 and just curious what everyone would recommend.

make it $100-$200 as it seems the $150-$200 range opens up a lot of options...

Check the model closeout pricing on the Bushnell 3200's. Some excellent bargains.

Suggest that you look at a Shotgun/Muzzleloader scopes that has the longer eye relief. These might have the Pro-Diamond or circle reticles. I have Bushnells on two of my In-Line hunters, that have given me very good service.

Okay looked into some and the front runner right now is the Redfield Revolution series. Made by leupold and comes with lifetime warranty no questions asked. Leupold is one of the best and these Redfields are made in same facility with same materials...almost like the generic version haha! $159 is a great price!

My opinion is to spend a little more and buy a Leupold SABR.

That's sounds like a very nice scope.
Let's us know how it works out after you get it all set up.
