Is there any way of knowing how many of those 9,000 are active members, say, posting at least 1 post in the last 30 days?

Just rampant curiosity...

Wow. A LOT higher than I would have thought...

Not bad at all.

Rampant curiosity satisfied.

I respectfully suggest that the following thread -- and the attitudes it conveys -- says volumes: http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/...hreadid=62759.

I admit I have been one of the lurkers for awhile now . Have been sitting back and admiring the extensive volume of knowledge exhibited here at TFL Every time I have needed help I found the answer in your search . So until now I didn't feel need to bother anyone . Any how slo_dog says howdy from MI.

RWK,

That's the thread that got me wondering about how many people post on a regular basis.

Slo Dog,

Stop by and bark more often!
