Love my new $400 Ruger American .30-06 setup

I just want to praise my new Ruger American .30-06. CDNN Sports has them on sale now. I got this setup (rifle, scope, and sling) all for a total of $400 including delivery and paperwork fees.

As an entry-level .30-06 I'm VERY happy with it at this price. Shot good groups at 100 yards on my first problem-free outing.

Yes, they also come in a harder-to-find brownish called "copper mica":

Nice gun and you got a great deal.

I've had my .30-06 American for four years. I really like it. It's a great shooting rifle. I can bust clay pigeons set out at 300 years every shot. They didn't offer them in camouflage when I got mine.

I have a Compact in 223 and a Predator in 308. Not the rifles I'll be proud to pass down to the grandkids, but they are shooters. The best of the budget rifles in my opinion.
