just started working with this cartridge.
in your experience, what brass is best to use. winchester, starline, remington? thanks a bunch in advance. |

I've always liked starline brass. That's what I was reloading .38 super with for the past few years.

38 super brass
if you shoot this stuff as ipsc major none of it will last long. i use it all and don't seem to have any case failures, such as cracks. what happenes is the primer pocket gives up and will no longer hold a primer. i shoot NRA action postol and use 5.2 gr 231 which is a relative;y light load. when loading on my piggyback if i seat a primer and feel no tension at all-i take it out of shellholder and push a decapping pin through the primer hole-sometimes they will fall out-if so that one goes in the trash-if i feel any tension at all on the primer then i give that one another chance..Dick
