What spare parts for An AR?

Magazines aside, what spare parts should you keep on hand for an AR? What specific springs? Spare bolts? Extractors?

Another AR! I have 6. Once you build on, youll want another. I would have a full parts kit handy ane you should be fine.

^ Eh... not everyone is able to find these threads.

So my suggestions for spare parts are:

- Bolt
- Extractor/spring
- Iron sights
- Detents
- Slings

I believe you can get a "spare parts kit" online in different places like Aim, PSA, or VTsupply. If you can get a spare BCG that would be great but they are all soldout right now.

I am still in the middle of building my first AR and have already bought 2 spring and pin kits for extra just in case I launch more across the garage lol. For 30 dollars it seemed like good parts to have around also.

I don't run my ARs hard, but have fired a few thousand rounds through them. The only components I've replaced so far have been the gas rings.
