Headstamp Question

I have some 380 Auto brass with a CBC headstamp and don't remember who the manufacturer was. I was loading last night and crinkled a couple of them so I pulled them aside and double checked my notes from last session and sure enough I had the same problem then. They seemed out of spec even after running them through a full length sizer and the bullets seemed tight. I managed to get about 4 out of 100 loaded before I separated the brass. When I shot them last time, the brass came out with scrapes on it from the ejector or a different part of my pistol.

Any help would be appreciated so I don't buy that brand again.

CBC = Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos
Packaged and sold here as Magtech.

Strange, the occasional 9mm or .45 I pick up reloads ok.

When you get a loaded round, what do you measure as the OD over the bullet?

Very Interesting

I have loaded Magtech before and not noticed that it had a CBC headstamp and never had problems with it in 9mm.

I just measured all of the ones I loaded and every CBC headstamp has an OD at the case mouth of .375 while all the other brass is .373. Very interesting indeed.

My guess is that CBC makes Magtech's brass for it with the Magtech headstamp.
