Rifle Safe

Any suggestions on a combo lock (not electronic/key) rifle safe? This would be for something in my bedroom that would keep kids out. I have a great handgun safe from Fas1 so this one is not for my emergency guns.

I'd go with whichever brand is available nearest you.

Most all brands can be ordered with a dial instead of a keypad of they don't have one in stock.

I like Browning safes myself

Just get one bigger than you think you need because they tend to fill up fast.

When you say Combo lock (not electronic/key), are you saying you want a dial type or a simplex type (push button mechanical)?

Dial is preferred for this.

I have found Stack on safes (not the cabinets) work fine for me. I have two for rifles ad one for hand guns. Some one already mentioned this but buy bigger then you think you need. That is why I have two safes for rifles.

I suspect the OP is at least 100 miles from the nearest BPS.
All the major manufacturers offer dials as an option, or you can order and install your own:

OMG a 100 miles.
That is nothing.
Cabelas is 80 miles from me I visit is several times a year.
Id drive that to pick up "what I wanted instead of what will work".
Also many other sell dial safes as well.
Fort knox safe for example.
Academy also sells some though most seem to be touch pad.
Tractor supply sells um
WalMart sell cheezy stack ons as well.
Many options I looked at several before settling on the one I posted as it was the best "fit"

About a 30 mi drive across town to BP to get it.
Academy 10 min from my house had some as well just not what "I wanted"

Some folks are willing to travel to get what they want.

Shipping is also available on most any safe purchased.

There are many places much closer to buy a good safe in Eastern NC.
I only had to go 10 miles to get mine and I live in a very rural area.

Yes, if you pay enough you can have most things delivered, although many such large items will only ship to a place with a loading dock and forklifts for unloading.

Scan craigslist for a deal. I scored a 20 gun Liberty with an S&G dial lock for $500. What part of Coastal NC are you?

Here ya go:
