Cast bullets in 30-30

I am loading 165 gr cast bullets for a Winchester 94. These are plinking loads and I am asking what OAL I should have. I have seated to a provided crimping groove but they will not feed and are very hard to load. The loading gate seems to hit the inserted round and it is very hard to get more than two or three in magazine. These bullets are from Missouri bullet co and are the " white tail" with the flat point. Any ideas appreciated.

i have a lever-action where if i load lead rounds it has a tough time, i have found its because the cast are oversize and my mag wont accept them, try some factory rounds and if it works no prob, then i suspect you would need to run your lead though a sizing die

also make sure you are not over crimping and making a wider spot
