Mossberg 930 spx

Just bought a new 930 spx and would like to know if shooting slugs will do damage to the gun? I would like to deer hunt with it. I would like to hear from anyone that may have been to the range with this gun and shot slugs thru it and how it did at 50yrds or better.. Thanks

Nope... I don't see how you would need to worry about it. smooth bore = rifled slug while a rifled barrel is for sabot slugs...
