Making an HD Shotgun? Coating?
What company can coat a shotgun for a reasonable price. Wilson Tactical will coat a 870 in Black or O.D. Green for $150. Wilson Combat will do it and rebuild it for around $330. Anybody know of anyone else or used the two above? I don't like having to rub the oil off the blued steel every time I touch the gun.
I also plan to add a Mesa Tactical right side 4-shell holder, sling, Hogue stock and a surefire foregrip, or maybe a picanty forgrip from Wilson Combat to make a near perfect HD 12 guage. Anyone else have any good ideas. |

Why not just coat it yourself with Duracoat. Lauer Custom Weapons sells coating kits, and you can pick the flavor.

I'm afraid the finish would not be that great. Have you used it? If so how did it turn out?
