Iron Sight Shooting at the Range

I was shooting ZQI ammunition out of my Century Arms C308 rifle at 50 yards off of a table rest. The silhouettes are approximately life-size, and that is a dime in the photos. (More photos to follow, if they will ever download off of “the cloud”)

Fun to do heads shots, I guess. But center of mass at 100 yards will tell you more. Give it a try.

Good for me to see your groups. Sunday shot Henri 30-30 at 50 yds. Thought I should be frustrated but seeing OP's photos I'm confident that my strays are me as 2 or 3 of 6 rds are grouped within an inch, rest are 2 to 5" sprayed away. I mean Henry.......son is named Henri.

This was my worst target: four out of eight at 75 yds.

Fun time, I see.

On my next range trip, I hope to put the 357 Redhawk on 50 and 100 yard paper.....

The last ones!

FYI - The "head" target was 10.5" tall and 9" across at the helmet.

Shots to the helmet could be ineffective.
I'd be aiming lower
The groups are pretty good though
