I think I just found a new powder for my 45/70
I have been looking for a easy to use powder lately as I realized while loading some 223 for the AR that it was quit nice to use the progressive.
So I started snooping around and realized that the H335 that I am using for the 223 can also be used in my 45/70 and according to my Speer book I should pick up some velocity. Since I am shooting a 400 grain bullet I expected more recoil, but was pleasantly surprised to feel less recoil So when day light starts to get a little longer I will try doing a little load development. I only loaded 6 or so at the minimum charge.
