Hmmm...three lifetimes worth? For me that would be between 2.5 and 3.0 million rounds. Sure, if you got that much, sell 1/3.

Sort of like the stock market
Yes, that's why I buy when the price is low.

I bought a lot of components & ammo 2 & 3 years ago when price was very reasonable, however I buy to hold (shoot).

I have plenty to satisfy my shooting sports needs.

Buy low sell high? NO, I Buy low & HOLD!

You mean I only have two years left of shooting. My heart is breaking.
More being optimistic on my part...

Right now I am not buying for the rest of my life, I have enough to support my shooting habit twice a week. So personally I would not sell.

I don't really believe an armory's worth of ammo is going to do me much good for taking on an F35 or M1, nor do I see myself mowing down hordes of anarchist apocalypse zombies. Sure could use some primers, though.

Yeah, me too! That's depressing. I'm hoping that I can at least hobble along until I'm 80 or so, since I'm normally doing 100 rounds per week right now.

I've been selling some of my extra ammo to my friend who owns our local gun shop.
He has treated me well in the past so I figure it's my turn to help him a bit.
He needs some ammo on his shelves to keep customers coming in.
I can still make a handsome profit on my unneeded ammo while helping my LGS stay in business during tough times. It's a win for everyone.

I did the same thing for a local pawn/ gun shop. He was completely shut out on 22lr about two months ago. He sells a lot of 22 rifles and I have a ton of 22lr. I took him about 5000 rounds so he would have ammo to sell with guns. He was quite grateful.
