Looking for suggestions on source for .223 REM bullets

I’m looking to buy some .223 REM (.224”) bullets to run through an AR. Looking for 500+ quantities in 55 grain, soft point boat tail.

I have found multiple sources via google, but thought I’d ask you fine folk: where do you buy bulk bullets and why?

Cheers,
nixdorf

Powder Valley is typically a good deal.

My latest 55 gr training load uses 55 gr Xtreme bullets ordered off their site.

I have been buying from 223bullets.com. 55 grain FMJ. Good bullets for the range and the price is right. Also have picked up at Widener's, too.

MidSouth sells Hornady (SP and FMJ)bulk pack bullets (6K) at a very reasonable price. The SP is a good varmint bullet although not as quick expanding as some of the polymer tipped bullets. MS's "Varmint Nightmare" bullets seem to be as good as the Hornady(or maybe they ARE Hornady in a brown box) and come in 250, 500, & 2K bulk packs.
PS
I bought some FMJ bullets made in the Philippines once. Found they varied by 2-3 grains in weight and the nose profile varied so much that loading to the cannelure was difficult.
