Does anyone have the straight poop on what happened to Brass Extrusion Laboratories, Limited; 800 West Maple Lane, Bensenville, IL 60106?
Alternatively, assuming they closed, did any firm buy the equipment and continue making the equivalent .50 basic brass? I see the Old Western Scrounger selling .50x3-1/4 (50-140 Sharps), as is the Montana Armory (under name of C. Sharps Arms, Co.). Looking for for the above at a more reasonable price than $2.50-$3.00 per case! |

Sorry I can't help but my recollection is that they went under several years ago. I don't remember the disposition of the equipment.
Have you tried Starline Brass? They may be able to steer you in the right direction. Try www.starlinebrass.com |

Talked to a guy at the reloading shop yesterday. He gets his basic brass from Bertram. Don't know of any addy though. He had to wait on some other customers as they were rather busy at the time. IIRC it's at Australian company.
