i 'm in process to ereditate the full auto collection from my father....
in italy there are no market for this such of weapons because from 1975 the license can relased only in case of death of the previuos holder of the license.
For own fiscal law i must declare the value of the weapons so i sak you the value of the following weapons..

If I understand correctly, you live in Italy, your father has a full auto collection and they can only be "released only in the case of death of the previous license holder"? It's not clear whether they can be transferred to another individual that already has a license, but no one can get a license now, or if one can NOT get a license now.

In any case, you cannot value your collection based on the value they might bring in the USA, because - they CANNOT be brought into the USA.

If they are not transferrable, they are pretty much - of no value to an individual. I assume the Police/Military can own them, so they'd probably give $200 each for them.

Some nice pieces for sure. Those Colt Thompsons would fetch a pretty penny if they were transferable pieces, but NFA items can not be imported into the US except for law enforcement/govt. So US market prices really aren't applicable to that collection.

in italy the full auto weapons license ara frezzed from 1975 by the law,the only cause for a new release to a new holder is in case of eretitade them.
The law is it...the weapons owed with licensed before june 1975 cannot be seled to other license owend in italy but can sale to a foreign customer previus a permit from the ministery of interni (security state departement)
the law was made so when the terrorism plague italy....
But i dont want sale them...i must pay the tax on them ...and i need to know ad approsimative value..the only western country with a legal market for such weapons are USA,switzerland and finland..so i ask to fellow collector to estimate them .....

The law in the USA makes the few legal full auto weapons cost much more than they should be for the average citizen. For example...

an MG42 is worth about $40,000. (USD)

original WWII MP40s for about $15,000.

original WWII Sten about $6000.

original WWII Browning 1919 about $20,000+

MP5 about $15,000.

Colt Thompsons - $30,000. to $40,000 each.

Since you are looking at value for figuring out how much tax you owe. Why not use the price military/police would pay for those weapons?

$500 for the Thompsons, and around $1000 for everything else. You would pay less in taxes that way.

I'd try to use whatever price my father originally paid them, maybe adjusted for inflation, unless using foreign civillian market prices is how the the Italian government wants the taxes estimated. It seems that it would be cheaper.

the financial ministerium (ministero delle finanze) use the sistem of a expertise value like for a ancient or rare weapons...in italy the full auto weapons are rare and scarse out of the pubblic collection...
but use the price that pay the police like a good idea,where i can find a list value...?

If I were you, I'd get someone in Italy to appraise them... Someone who can physically come over and inspect them, then come up with good values.

If they cannot be sold or transfered, they have no value. Pay tax on $1 each or something.

In fact... it scares me to think that they'll probably be melted down in order "make society safer"
