Went to my local Pawn shop today.

They had nothing good.

Just a lot of old bolt action rifles, a few AK47's, and a SW M&P 22.

Looks like no one wants to part with the AR Minis, or Sigs.

Nope. I was disappointed.

I want to find a good mini 14 for when the new kit comes out.

Down and outright dangerous to go into mine,,,

The Evil Pawn Shop Guy always seems to have something to tempt me with.

Last week it was a Model 12 snubbie,,,
It was all I could do to leave that one in the case.

I went to a pawn shop last month, they had a Hi-Point 9mm (used) for $275 and a .40 for $350. I chuckled, and it's the last time I'll bother going there.

My local gun shop, has guns WAY overpriced. Even over priced for a gun shop. The basic ar they have is around 1300 out the door. The pawn shop down the street has the EXACT gun for around 850 out the door. How that gun shop is still in business is beyond me.

It's a pawn shop, not a retail store!!!!!!

They live on other peoples missery to make a profit.

Jim

Don't look for a fair shake from a guy that wan'ts to give you 10 cents on the dollar. It use to be 25 cents on the dollar, but the dollar isn't worth what it use to be.

I'm in the market for a new one (or new to me) so I thought I would check out some pawnshops. What a waste of time! I went to like four and all their stuff was beat up and they were still charging more then the MSRP! Never bothering with pawnshops again.
