My new Weatherby

Here's my new pump gun. Haven't shot it yet, but soon. It feels really good in my hands, the action is smooth, and the fit and finish on this gun is excellent.
Traded my Tristar Viper 12ga for it.
Pardon all the fingerprints on it, I've yet to clean it up after a couple of us had our hands all over it.

A big ditto on Jim's comments. That gun will look better with some well earned wear marks on the mag tube.

Actually, stupid as it sounds, I'm content to just look at it for now cause I think it's a beautiful gun. The pics I took don't do it justice. My Tristar was a synthetic thing that I didn't really take much care of, I could throw it around and whatever mark it happened to get on it, oh well. This gun will get shot quite a bit, believe me, but I'm definitely gonna keep it nice.
No one hopes more than me that it's a good gun. All I can go by is that the guy I bought it from has sold 6 of these guns all together, and he has a 14 day return policy; you don't like your new gun, you take it back for whatever reason. None of the 6 have come back. But 4 of the customers have come back raving about their gun. So for 14 days I'm gonna shoot it a lot cause if it's no good, it can be returned.

Eyeing one at DSG $349

My local Dicks Sporting Goods has a beautiful specimen. The Manager says wait...They'll probably have one more sale as hunting season picks up. (I have a Gift card for $150) But I'm getting itchy...
I can't stand the plain awful look of the Mossberg or 870 Express:barf:
