Baikals-opinions and value for $?
I have shot Baikals for years. I started CAS shooting with a IZH-43 from EAA/Baikal. I have not justified replacing it. What about the other Baikals? I haven't seen anything on the shelves lately. Where are the Baikals? Who is importing them?

Remington is supposed to be introducing a line of inexpensive side by side, and O/U shotguns that are made by Baikal. I think they are marketing them under the name Spartan, but I can't remeber for sure.
Savage has also imported a S/S Baikal that they're marketing under the Stevens brand. I tend to see several Baikals at the local gun shows, so someone must importing a lot of them. |

I just heard that Winchester, Savage/Stevens and Remington are importing the fine Baikals. Prices will no doubt rise.
