Just got some .45 West Coast plated 225g flat points. Using W primers and 231 powder. Can't find any info in load books on them. Any suggestions? Can I load them the same as the lead 225g flat points which I am loading with 5.7g 231 at an OAL of ~1.225? I can go longer with this bullet if I need to. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Frank

I believe I'd back off to 5.5g.

OAL 'seems' okay, but I'd let testing for reliable feed determine that.

Per another thread currently posted here, the lead will take a little less, not more, powder than the plated bullets.
