Anyone form 1 a solvent trap?

Has anyone bought one of those 1/2 x 28 "solvent traps" and submitted a form 1 to make it into a silecer? If so how did it turn out?

I've done 3 of them. The one I did for Rimfire works great, about the same as my Spectre II suppressor.
Made another for my 40 cal carbines. Works great with my sub-sonic loads, not so good with taming down super sonic.
The last one was just a test can to see if it would handle the pressures of 223 & 6.8 SPC II loads. It does handle the pressure fine, but only being 8" long doesn't quiet things down like my 30 caliber commercial made suppressors.

Interesting, I have seen them online but haven't read of anyone filling paperwork and actually shooting it.
