I found that to be true for myself.

Still,I like some push and roar! I prefer a 44 magnum to a 22 just because.

True for me, but I can shoot high recoil well enough.

Still, I’m thrilled switching to a 6.5x55 Swede for a deer rifle!

Assuming the platforms are equal, then I would agree with that. Now if the platforms are not equal I will say that I will take hot .454 rounds out of my SBH all day compared to my .38 642.
I am beginning to hate that little trigger finger slapping revolver, I think it might go the way of the Dodo bird...
