Va has a population of about 8.2 million. The population of the counties defying those in Richmond is about 5 million.
Gonna beat this dead horse again...WHERE were these 5 million people on election day??
Is the Virginia GOP 'machine' that clueless, out of touch!!

Many of us voted but we were throughout the lower population area of the state. Our representative might represent several counties and they won with around 90% of the votes but in highly populated Northern Virginia, each county had several representatives each. Bloomberg spent 2.5 million dollars in the last week or so before the election and he brainwashed the liberals into voting for gun control. The rest if the state didn't hear any Bloomberg sponsored ads.

Not to mention that even if Republicans went to vote, if the Democrat on the ballot was running unopposed there wasn't really anything the Rs could do.

That's true and just like on my end of the state, many Republicans ran unopposed. It worked both ways.
