I got another one! My Marlin 25mn has not yet me down yet. The action has smoothed out and mated nicely. Smooth.
About a 100 yd shot. On a slow move. He looked determined to get to his hole (broken field tile) and didn't even stop to eat or look around much.
Hit him with the second shot for sure, the first one maybe. Still using CCI Maxi HP. As usual,I was ready to call it a night and was more or less headed back to my car, and holy cow!
He ended up with a few more rounds in him, even a .32 acp or 2 from the KelTec.
