EOTech 3x magnifier

I was thinking about buying a 3x magnifier for my EOTech 512. But when I was messing with my buddy's Aimpoint brand 3x magnifier on my EOTech the reticle was low and to the left. It wasnt too terribly off, but it was annoyingly obvious none the less and really turned me off to the idea. I know they are made for 2 different systems, but I cant imagine them being too different in where they are placed on they rail (in regard to my EOTech). If anyone knows why this is, or has any experience with the EOTech/3x magnifier combo, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Loosten the mount ring and rotate the magnifier until the reticle is centered.

They work great when they are used together. It makes the ACR just a little more fun to shoot!
