Nikon Prostaff adjusting

Does anyone know the clicks of adjustment for a 3x9x40 Prostaff Nikoplex?
I seem to be having a problem. I have already clicked it about 64 clicks and the shot is only about 1 inch over. I received no paperwork with this scope, so I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Thanks!

Doesn't it say right on the adjusting scale? My Nikons do. Most similar scopes are 1/4'' @ 100 yards. That's 1/8'' @ 50 and 1/16'' @ 25. If adjusting does not alter POI, check the mount/rings for tightness. Otherwise the scope might be shot.

PROSTAFF

I concur with Buck.
He's right on with his number.
Check to make everything is rock solid.
Let me know after you try it again.
