Anti-Fog Solution
Hey. I'm looking for a good anti-fog solution now that mine is slowly crapping out. All my opto have is the regular "ClaClear" cleaning kit. I got some relief from "Extreme Rage" anti-fog/cleaner. But these warm-humid tempature changes are giving my glasses hell. Anyone have one to recommend?
thanks ahead of time........

I don't have a chemical solution for you but one thing I learned from my diving days - fog doesn't form on perfectly clean glass. It will only form on the impurities present on the glass. Of course, you can never keep it perfectly clean but the closer you can the less fog you'll get.

Johnson's baby shampoo in water is what was used by snorkelers in the Carib to keep their mask clean and fog-free - better than spit

The shampoo trick only works when you are actually getting into the water - it has to be left as a thin film on the glass. I don't think that wouldn't work for eyeglasses. I used to keep a small bottle in my dive bag.

Get a small bottle of glycerin and lightly coat the glass lens with it. Until it gets wiped off it should last quite awhile.
