Looking for a surefire forend.....

Hey guys, i keep seeing posts about you need a light, and i would really like a forend with a light, dont much like the ones mounted on the magazine, and i have a pretty stock Rem 870 HD. Is it really worth it to pay 240 dollars for a forend with a flashlight in it? looking forward to your posts or any suggestions, on where to buy thanks again.

Hey, you can't send him a Surefire until mine shows up!

I suppose it depends on your priorities. It is probably more important to have one on a LE gun than a HD gun, where my first recommendation would be to spend the money on training.

You could save a lot by going to a mag tube mount. Heck, I can remember using duct tape and cable ties, for the ultimate in low-speed high-drag

Tim, I'm using this set-up (see pic). Works fine with over 100 rounds fired...and a lot cheaper.

I have one on mine. IMO the SF taclight is probably the most important (and most frequently used) modification I've made.
