Read closely
I received the same flier from Bass Pro Shops, but if you look closely, that price is only good on Thanksgiving morning. I'm sure there will be a line and a mad rush to get the .22s anyway. For people who really want to brave the crowds, they have another bulk pack advertised on Black Friday, but it isn't as cheap.

well if you find them, be sure to share
I load most of my own, but I will be at the gun show this weekend and will be picking up something, perhaps some .17 HMR

I've always had an ample supply of 9mm and 22lr on hand. And since the last ammo crisis, I got into reloading. Now I'm well stocked on everything I shoot. Don't have much need to buy anything. Although I'm running a bit low on primers.

It's out there, but not cheap: https://ammoseek.com/ammo/375-winchester
Better stock up before your new ammo laws take effect out there in Cali. |

This might not be much of a deal but it is CCI Blazer Brass with which I've always had excellent results.
Cabela's 9mm is $10 box of 50 rounds .380 Auto, .38 Special, .40 S&W is $14 box of 50 rounds .45 ACP is $18 box of 50 rounds http://www.cabelas.com/product/CCI-B...12937|SUBFEAT8 For the reloaders they've got X-treme copper plated pistol bullets. Disclaimer: I've never used these bullets but I might try a box or two. http://www.cabelas.com/product/EXTRE...6.uts?slotId=3 Something a little goofy is X-treme package where you get primed brass AND the bullet. (9mm only, 115 and 147 bullets only) http://www.cabelas.com/product/null/...9.uts?slotId=3 And finally X-treme .224 bullets 55 grain, FMJ $44 for 500 bullets. http://www.cabelas.com/product/X-TRE...0.uts?slotId=4 |

Expensive ammo, but available mail order
Thanks Possum!
I found some at Reeds Ammo http://www.reedsammo.com/ for $32 for a box of 20 235gr hollow points. Definitely ordering before the mail order ban hits!

Two years later, and Walmart is COVERED in .22's. Mostly CCI stuff.
I don't know where it all came from, out of the thin air apparently. But I approve of this day and shall participate! |

P.S. I like Walmart just fine, it's just that "the guy" with the key to the ammo cabinet seems to be permanently on break at my local store. |
