Lucky find.. repro 1860 Army shoulder stock.

I've been on a lucky streak lately. A fellow was selling an 1860 Army shoulder stock on Armslist for $60, just missing the nut for the J-hook. I managed to meet up with him and get it, and it's in great condition. He even had the box and receipt for it, bought at a Cabela's in 1994. Cabela's price back then was $59.95 apparently. I'm hoping it will fit my Uberti 1860 (2014 manufacture). Big age difference, but we'll see. Already ordered the J-hook nut from Taylor's.

Great find and price! I sold a Uberti 1860 shoulder stock on ebay some 15 years ago for $150.

A lucky find. That shoulder stock will probably need some fitting.

SIGSHR yes I'm expecting that too. He did take a measurement across the frame ends and it is .02" wider than my 1860 frame, so it shouldn't bind across the frame at least where it engages the shoulder stock screws. Won't know if it fits up into the cutouts in the recoil shield until I get it home.

You can always fit them.

Got it to fit. Holds solid. Not bad for an $84 total investment in the stock.
